The IOC Assembly & Executive Council

Each Member State has one seat in the Assembly, which meets once every two years. The Assembly is the principal organ of the Commission which make all decisions to accomplish the objectives of the IOC.

The next session of the Assembly will be held from 24th of June until the 4th of July, 2003.

In order to ensure smooth running of the IOC during the inter sessional period (ie between sessions of the Assembly) the IOC also has an Executive Council. This governing body is composed of a 'sub-set' of Member States of the IOC Assembly.
