Fifty-seventh session of the IOC Executive Council

The IOC Executive Council comprises 40 Member States, which includes those represented by the Chairperson and the five Vice-Chairpersons. Tasked with delegated responsibilities from the Assembly, the EC oversees the implementation of Assembly decisions and acts on its behalf. Additionally, the EC provides recommendations for future actions by the Assembly.

Its provisional agenda and timetable are prepared in agreement with the IOC Officers during their meeting with the senior management of the Secretariat (see the January 2024 Officers meeting). 

The 57th session of the Executive Coincil is preceded by a meeting of the Officers and a meeting of the Intersessional Financial Advisory Body. 

Plenary sessions will take place in Room XI and are planned to be webcast, pending confirmation.
